8.3.1 Information
Sample Submission System | ASI PX Policies for Beamline 8.3.1 | Data Collection Schedule Acknowledgment of Data Collection The Alberta Synchrotron Institute has supported experiments at a number of beamlines in the last few years. Proper acknowldgement of both the ASI and the facilities where data collection was carried out is expected for all publications and presentations which arise from this work. Relevant acknowledgments for the most common beamlines are listed below. Acknowledging Data Collected on Advanced Light Source Beamline 8.3.1 Publications that use data collected at the ALS Beamline 8.3.1 through the ASI access program should have the following text acknowledging both the light source and the funding partners for the ASI: X-ray diffraction data were collected at beamline 8.3.1 of the Advanced Light Source (ALS) at Lawrence Berkeley Lab, under an agreement with the Alberta Synchrotron Institute (ASI). The ALS is operated by the Department of Energy and supported by the National Institute of Health. Beamline 8.3.1 was funded by the National Science Foundation, the University of California and Henry Wheeler. The ASI synchrotron access program is supported by grants from the Alberta Science and Research Authority (ASRA) and the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR). Acknowledging Data Collected on Advanced Light Source Beamline 12.3.1 Publications that use data collected at the ALS Beamline 12.3.1 through the ASI access program should have the following text acknowledging both the light source and the funding partners for the ASI: Experimental data were collected at SIBYLS (beamline 12.3.1) at the Advanced Light Source (ALS) at Lawrence Berkeley Lab, which is funded by NCI grant CA92584 and DOE contract DE-AC03-76SF00098. Data collection was supported by The Alberta Synchrotron Institute (ASI) synchrotron access program, which is supported by grants from the Alberta Science and Research Authority (ASRA) and the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR). Acknowledging Data Collected at the Canadian Light Source (CLS) Publications that use data collected at the CLS through the ASI access program should have the following text acknowledging both the light source and the funding partners for the ASI: Portions of this research were performed at the Canadian Light Source, which is supported by NSERC, NRC, CIHR, and the University of Saskatchewan. Data collection was supported by The Alberta Synchrotron Institute (ASI) synchrotron access program, which is supported by grants from the Alberta Science and Research Authority (ASRA) and the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR). Acknowledging Data Collected at SSRL Publications that use data collected at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (SSRL) through the ASI access program should have the following text acknowledging both the light source and the funding partners for the ASI: Portions of this research were carried out at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, a national user facility operated by Stanford University on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Basic Energy Sciences. The SSRL Structural Molecular Biology Program is supported by the Department of Energy, Office of Biological and Environmental Research, and by the National Institutes of Health, National Center for Research Resources, Biomedical Technology Program, and the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. Data collection was supported by The Alberta Synchrotron Institute (ASI) synchrotron access program, which is supported by grants from the Alberta Science and Research Authority (ASRA) and the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR). |
